Teachers
Gil Flores
TEACHES: Brass instruments (French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone/Euphonium, and Tuba), Wind Instruments (Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Oboe), Guitar, Ukulele, Bass, Piano, and Vocal
Gil is a multi-instrumental performer, writer, recording artist, and private teacher with over 25 years of experience. He is also the owner of the Music Score. He attended Western Connecticut State University as a Music Education Major.
Gil is proficient in many instruments including (but not limited to): Piano, Voice, Guitar, Bass, Low & High Brass Instruments, Clarinet, Saxophone, Drums, Violin, Oboe, and Ukulele. Performed in many Pit Orchestras in Elementary Schools, High Schools, and College. Performed on the road with a number of bands including his 80's cover band, "Gargamel."

Katherine Tolis
TEACHES: Violin & Viola
Katherine is a violin performer and was an educator in the Berlin School system for many years. She received a B.A. from St.Joseph College in West Hartford, and a M.S. in education from C.C.S.U. She studied violin at The Hartford Conservatory and participated in chamber workshops with Lilian Fuchs at the Yale Summer School of Music. She received ensemble coaching under Gerald Gelbloom at The Hartford Conservatory and studied privately with Helen DeLay at Julliard.

Presently, she is a member of the New Britain Symphony, and is the first violinist in the New England Chamber Choir Orchestra. She is also serving as a CMEA violin adjudicator for the Connecticut Regionals and All-State Auditions.
Christine Melson
TEACHES: Piano
Christine has a Master’s degree from Hartt School of Music and has been teaching and playing in Connecticut for over 20 years. She often plays for churches and touring Broadway musicals. Chris is also a faculty member at Trinity College.
Sinan Bakir
TEACHES: Guitar, Ukulele, and Bass
Sinan Bakir is a jazz guitarist and composer performing regularly in CT and NY. He is a graduate of Hartford Conservatory and also holds a BS for engineering. He enjoys teaching guitar and music theory at all levels and also studied music pedagogy which allows him to work with kids easily.
