The two Technic Time books contain 90 brief, attractive technical studies, most no longer than eight measures in length. Each study fits into a carefully crafted program of technical development, designed to help the young beginner build a natural and secure technical foundation. Clever stick figures illustrate what the ten fingers are doing in five-finger positions, extensions, contractions and crossings. The studies in the Technic Time books are correlated, unit-by-unit, with the discoveries in the Write and Play Time series.
